The mission of CASA of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit is to adhere to the National CASA Association's Core Model of providing screened, trained and qualified community court appointed volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children and youth who are before the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court as a result of abuse or neglect as defined by the WV child welfare laws; these children or youth may be living at home or in out-of-home care. CASA volunteers advocate for children from age birth through the age 18 unless court ordered to remain with the child through their twenty first birthday.
When foster children are bounced around, they can end up feeling homeless. Having their lives repeatedly uprooted leaves these children feeling alone and unwanted. YOU can ensure they'll have a safe, permanent home where they can thrive by being a CASA volunteer.
